Materials Needed:

  • Fabric

  • Safety Eyes, buttons or felt

  • bean bag pellet stuffing

  • Fiber fill stuffing

  • Thread and sewing machine

  • Pattern in link above

Directions:

  1. Cut out the fabric according to pattern directions. With right sides together, sew the back seem on the frog. If using safety eyes, cut small holes to insert the eyes through the fabric, and apply according to package directions (it is much easier to apply the eyes before sewing the top and bottom of the frog together).

  2. Sew the top of the frog pattern to the bottom, leaving about a 1/4 inch seam. Leave a gap at the frog's bum to turn right side out and stuff. Cut slits into seam allowance at any curves to avoid puckering. Turn right side out.

  3. Stuff feet with a small amount of fiber fill, just to make the toes have depth. Sew lines up the feet to give the frog toes.

5. Stuff the frog with about 4 oz. of bean bag pellets. Then sew the frog shut by

hand.

6. If using buttons or felt eyes, sew them into place. Enjoy your new frog!
